Afghanistan: More War, More Debt, Less Accountability

Apparently, the "smoke and mirrors" actions of those in Washington now over this health care deform disaster of a bill is getting more and more furious.

At over 2,000 pages, from its inception it is nothing more than the second Lawyers Employment Act legislation (the first being the Patriot Act itself) mostly for the revenues of those in the legal profession, many of whom in Washington are also a members.

The argument over federal funding for elective abortions actually is such hyperbole it is at this point incredible, and does go to show just how much the media is being used in order to shift the focus on many of the provisions of the bill which bear further scrutiny while focusing on a really inconsequential provision.

Why inconsequential?

As with the health care bill's focus on whether or not it should provide benefits for illegal immigrants, this argument now over elective abortions is redudant and really "after the fact," since at the present time health care for illegal immigrants is already provided under separate legislation that was enacted "behind closed doors" as it were, as is also elective abortions.

How so?

Many groups and "civic" organizations throughout the country receive federal funding for their programs through grant monies provided.

Planned Parenthood, as a deemed "educational institution" primarily is one of them, and also provides services for elective abortions - in fact, is one of the civic organization that has become the focus of those opposing abortion, but also those not at all opposing abortion in and of itself, but opposing the "partial birth" abortion method utilized throughout the country at some public or low cost health care clinics now.

The procedure that is nothing more than the "section and suction" extraction that has resulted in many women becoming subseqently sterile in the process due to the procedure itself which can and has pierced a woman's uterus effectively making her unable to carry a full term child thereafter.

And is in the opinion of many, barbaric in its method.

But this argument, without recission of the grant monies that are given now to many of these groups throughout the nation for elective abortions, has done a great job in swinging all those that have been crying foul over the entire focus of this bill to selective features of it.

Which apparently is the goal, after all, not the fact that the entire bill was written for and by the special interest groups and industries which will once again benefit without any fundamental changes in both the provision of health care in this country or its costs.

While charging many a now jobless and homeless American another "fee" and "tax" for Washington if they are unable to comply.  In essence, if Americans do not cowtow to Washington's will, they will pay a price.  A little less than the cost of getting that coverage - but either Big Daddy, or their special interest "favor subject" will profit, come hell or highwater.

Regulation, and performing their Constitutional function would address the difficulties that actually lack of regulation has created most of all, and also the expense and globalization of this financial sector into high risk investments they have progressively done with all those excess premium payments.

I mean, this legislations was the most expensive undertaking the health care industry has ever funded.  Which means their profit margins at this point are off the charts in order to have paid six figure salaries to all those lobbyists on K Street in order to once again increase their bottom line profits at the American public's expense.

Americans will once again be feeding the global investors in the health care sector, at now the cost of their very lives - and bankbooks.

It appears, soon all Americans will be on welfare due to legislating with this mindset and logic.

Fort Hood Incident Saturates Media with Political Spins

For Any And All American Conserve-atives (not the British variety ala Fox News):

In light of the upcoming funerals and media coverage of the loss of additional American lives in the wake of the Fort Hood incident in Texas this week, it appears now the media spins are getting wider, deeper and more and more furious by the day.

Since America's presence in the Middle East in some form or another has been a fact since that British "taking" of the land now comprising Israel prior to World War I in an agreement entered into between a British Lord of the Realm and a British banker zionist, America's continued loss of life on behalf of this foreign non-U.S. based accord is becoming greater and greater by the year.

And what has been interesting has been one fundamental question which the media has not in any significant manner raised during the past several days of the "analysis" that are being made on both liberally based and focused mainstream sources - funded by either the Republican Globalists or Democratic Globalists ala FOX and CNN.

Just why would an avowed pacifist and war protestor enlisted or continued serving in the U.S. military during the continuation of this war, which has now gone on for more than eight years after the attacks on the World Trade Center in 2001.

Most enlistees, or even those career military officers - which is more likely since the accused is or was the base psychiatrist apparently - tours of duties come up for renewal in two to four year increments.

The outrage of the American people, and the clearly questionable now basis for our continued presence in that region has been a well known fact as based upon false intelligence for over five years at this point.  And was, after all, the major focus of most of the liberals in their other extra-Constitutional positions who, however, were the major supporters of Mr. Obama in his run for the roses as the "change" candidate, after all.  Although disagreement with the continuation of this war as not in any way at all based upon Constitutional provision, or the intent of the founders with respect to defensive wars as hoping this country would remain as neutral as possible in such events as the continued Middle East situation, is not a liberal position at all, but actually a conservative one.

Most of these so called "progressives" and "liberals" of course now have continued to be suspiciously silent, although Mr. Obama is clearly following the Bush agendas and agreements which were reached with the "new" Iraqi government in his last 100 days in office calling for the withdrawal of all American troops by 2011, coincidentally just prior to the new U.S. presidential election cycle.

So it will end just as politically as it began apparenlty - and not legally or Constitutionally brought or now ended in any manner whatsoever.

Now it is being reported the suspect will be tried in a military court, as deemed not an overt act of terrorism.  And, of course, terrorism itself is a practice used by many in our media and also those now serving on the Hill against the American people now more so than even most of these branded extremist Iraqi groups - whose very existence and training were, after all, at the hands of the U.S. military to begin with.

The suspects now behavior prior to the incident is now uncovering some connections to spiritual leaders in this country and the Middle East.

But just how did most of these individuals, after all, be approved for immigration to this country I haven't a clue, although the suspect appears to be an American citizen by birth and not an immigrant or naturalized citizen.

And at last count, over 80% of the American people are dissatisfied with our continued presence in this war now that the focus has shifted from the events surrounding what occurred those many years ago, to building up a U.S force and presence now in that region on behalf of Israel most of all once again.

And, of course, to fatten the bank books of the Wall Street financiers and those invested in the military industrial and manufacturing areas in this country.  All those "science based" technology firms which this Administration and the last were feeding at the cost of American soldiers and families.   Silicon Valley is bursting at the seams at this point, although California's governor whining about a shortfall.

Unbeliveable.

My heart goes out to the families of those affected, but it would appear that the perpetrators and blame that is shifting is being shifted from the true source of the cause of their actual losses.

And that is, once again, a foreign and military policy in this country that is centered not on national security whatsoever, but nation building and agressive and pre-emptive wars.

At the cost of the families of many Americans, not simply those that were and have been lost now in the past eight years - and a domestic security problem that has not been solved at all by the creation of that massive Department of Homeland Security.

Since that Department has decreased, rather than increased, its budgeting and funding for the measures needed to truly secure this country rather than giving monies to Mexico and Israel in the form of foreign aid for the Silcon Valley venture capitalists profits, many of whose investors are foreigners also, after all, with British and Middle Eastern investors.

Funds were once again cut for the needed border fencing and security, and instead this and the last Administration also expanded its Visa waiver and immigration policies ten fold since 9/11 occurred.

In fact, a better name for this agency at this point is the Department of Homeland Insecurity.  With the running of their paid ads warning Americans to "have a plan" appearing to be the only real attempts to actually address the true defensive measures that would fundamentally secure this country from any such future incidents.

Such as reducing the number of airports and such available for those traveling to this country.  As Ellis Island was in the past maybe having three or four points of entry, rather than affording foreign based and owned airlines, ships and other modes of travel access to the interior airports and such would and could reduce the threat of any further attacks.

British Airways was given a contract for service to Phoenix years ago, and there are many foreign owned airlines with such contracts throughout the nation at the present time.

It does appear that break downs in communications and also the shear number now of agencies involved in these domestic and foreign surveillance departments are having an adverse affect and not the solution, but part of the problem.

As it appears is becoming now clear in this incident, as it was in the original loss of lives on September 11th - since that also as blamed on a breakdown of communications between the FBI and DoD.  Now we have the FBI, DoD and Homeland Security pointing fingers.

So just where is the change, except more of the same, and around another 50 more dead or wounded Americans?

Attention All Americans: More Insourcing, Outsourcing To Come

Much this past week has been in the U.S. press with respect to the GM "joint venture."  (The only other story being that of the crime at the Holocaust Museum, by the 89 year old American World War II enlistee, then also reported to be a former "Nazi Officer" according to the fiction writers in the U.S. press nowadays, rather than an apparently senile man who, at 89, somehow still had the mental capability and ability to operate his own website, since arthritis must not be plaguing him as much as my elderly post 80 parents, since my 87 year old Dad has a hard time doing so much as a search since he is and was not of the computer generation).

U.S.A., Inc. purchased, of course, a hefty share of General Motors, courtesy of the American taxpayers and shareholders, whereupon Mr. Obama then essentially fired a great many American citizens in Detroit, and sold out the smaller individual American bond holders to the UAW's larger interest.

Now it appears the company is going to "formally" file bankruptcy and go through the bankruptcy process.

Of course this bewilders me, since it does seem that perhaps this would have been the first step, so that all the details would be then available to the public as a "public" corporation, but it seems it is only the public's activities that seem to be under scrutiny as of late.

I wonder why the American people might be dissatisfied and distrust their government increasingly more and more each year?  Hmmmm....

Below is a response I made to a claimed citizen journalist poster (since those sites now have also been infiltrated by many on stimulus grant monies as "educational" sites it appears, along with the 100 million that was given to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, now also somehow worthy as also an "educational", rather than "corporate commercial" U.S. corporation, who contributed their "take" on the situation and simply believed that selling off the gas guzzlers in GM, Ford and Chrysler's lines will be the "cure" to what ails GM.

I doubt, as with the banks, anything at all truly ails GM, who has low wage plants in China and Mexico now since they've moved essentially offshore also, it is just another tool to use to facilitate global government, amass maximum profit due to those countries socialized and communist governments, and continue to merge our economy with that of the "global community," no matter what the sacrifices and costs to the American people.

Apparently, their homes and jobs are not enough, and we are bringing out the flag more and more and using the American people's love for their country now even as a weapon against them.

I hope any and all Americans left in the border states have been forewarned due to that sale.

Because as one who watched that situation explode since the Reagan years, and if all goes as it appears planned, come September with another push for the amnesty while still promoting open borders with Mexico, it will be sure to raise the ire of a good many of those living in the border states.

More than even those who have been their victims.

The response:

No, the Hummers will simply be bought and driven by the drug cartels members after they start being manufactured at the GM plant in Mexico. And eventually then, Arizona, Mexico and California will "officially" become propety again of Mexico through the drug cartel ownerships and profits, and corporate control of the faces sitting on the various state legislations, whose members are and have been indirectly on the receiving end of the drug cartel and open borders gravy train in one way or another.

Of course, it is all the Americans fault due to the "insatiable need" for drugs by the "people" in THIS country which Ms. Clinton trashed and spoke about to the Mexican governent (when a good 2/3's those with addiction problems started while minors due to their target market).

It couldn't be in order to legalize hard and addictive drugs in order to go in partnership with the Mexican and Chinese governments so that the pharmaceutical industry can cash in on this untapped resource, would it?

I wonder in such event how many new cases of AIDS there would be, or how much the street crimes would then increase in order for those mostly kids to maintain their habits?

Of course, at least that would also stimulate the security and "privatized" jail industry booming now in this country, which is one way to get the kids off the streets.  Make a profit off simply the addicted users for their incarcerations to make those high lease payments and private costs, and the legal industry in the pool of clients with all those drug profits to fleece, since the illegal sales to minors then would not cease.

Those kid consumers are an untapped source of revenue, and simply waste those allowances (from those parents still flush now enough to give it) on CDs and video games.

This way that hash and smack will then primarily come in tamper-proof packaging, except for those in the inner city who will have to settle for the lesser quality, but lethal, street variety.

If you can't beat 'em, why not join 'em?

We can't win in a "no win" Middle East war, and with open borders, the "War on Drugs" has simply been a farce.  So lets just cash in the chips on bin Laden AND the Mexican drug cartels since apparently neither war is winnable.  We've been in Iraq now for eight years and counting, and with open borders since the Mexican-American war.

But our "common defense" high tech security and gadget industry utilized priimarily against the American people since America has dissolved into simply a tourist trap for foreigners is truly booming.  California's pleading poverty, while Silicon Valley must be bursting at the seams at this point.  Another propaganda spin.

The mid to upper level corporate hotel chains catering to tourists and foreigners haven't been heard from as of yet in the major metropolitan cities seeking their welfare.   Those California resorts too are flush, as the AIG sabbatical proved.

Of course, as one who has experience with this situation up close and personally, this situation continues to be due to the federal and state governments which have done absolutely nothing about our border problem since the 60's except use it as a political weapon and for political advantage by both mainstream parties, and the drugs simply have gotten much more addictive and lethal that continue to be sold in front of the local high schools and middle schools in the border states by the year.

And the Chinese GM plant and one in Mexico are those which will be retained as their most profitable and most likely will be kept as simply a joint venture now among U.S.A., Inc., the GM major shareholders (UAW "corporate" and other union pensions primarily), and the UAW Corporation itself, so in essence Obama and our Congress simply used GM in order to entrench our government (as part owner now) more and more with the Chinese and Mexican governments, who most likey will be replacing those American union members which were fired.  A "buy-out" in essence skirting around SEC disclosure laws and regulations, as it were.   Like the bank "bailouts."

And whose largest imports are not those sold on the stock exchange.

Our government is run now by the bankers and global government "state actor" corporations and "associations" of huge national and multi-national industries, including the legal industry, that once hallowed "profession" who also have truly lost their way in some of the "new industries" due to the voluminous unconstitutional bills they have had a hand in writing for their own future incomes and their protected interests - the ones who funded their campaigns, and then and now are simply turning around and presenting their bill for their contributions during the 2008 election.

What better way to globally merge auto production, and then skim the American shareholders of their investments and retirements in the process?

We need room for all the foreigner invaders who are going to hit our shores real soon from both those countries, in addition to the ones already here that we are pushing to legalize from all reports come September - despite the objections and outrage of the American people and victims living in the border states for these trade agreements, including apparently actual people now more valued for their commercial worth to the global community and these corporate industries at this point for their profit and gain.

And AIG is a London based insurer - so for the first time in history, the American people are now holding the debts for a global corporation, in order to also merge our country and its economy more and more with that of the world, rather than protect our own.

Unbelieveable at this point the utter unawareness of a great many of the American people of what this foreshadows.

Hey, Congress and the Obama Administration just handed out more than 100 million stimulus monies to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce (which lobbies against really the Americans public for more laws for their welfare on behalf of their foreign global interests and their outsourced employees in order to fatten their pocketbooks), of course while Americans in the border states continue to face loss of their lives and property for the Chamber's agenda and benefit.

Now they have been deemed an "educational" institution, rather than a corporate "trade" organization.  We are not only redefining and burning the Constitution, but the English language now in this country in favor of what?  That definition isn't even Spanish.

Mr. Obama is simply the "used car salesman" that was picked to seal the deal, and bury our Constitution and sovereign America it appears forever, and since January clearly has been on a global road trip without stop continuing to sell the agenda to the American people wrapped, of all things, in Lincoln and the American flag.

Obama Requests $83 Billion For War Effort

Barack Obama has asked the U.S. Congress to provide for an additional $83 billion dollars in order to support the war and diplomatic efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan, it was report today in several news sources.

It appears Mr. Obama was not the anti-war candidate after all, and is simply continuing the Bush agenda with respect to the War in Iraq, and simply shuffling troops around.

As you may or may not know, Mr. Bush signed an agreement during his last 100 days in office which provides for full U.S. troop withdrawals just prior to the 2012 next presidential election. Mr. Obama met with Iraqi leaders during his campaign also. This agreement has been ratified by the Iraqi parliament, although it is still unclear since Iraq has only had one election whether or not the agreement requires full approval of the Iraqi people.

Mr. Obama has also been quite evasive with respect to Pakistan, and there have been several drone attacks committed near the Pakistani border reported also by several foreign news sources, although barely mentioned in the U.S. press.

It seems the true change and hope America was seeking will not be found in Mr. Obama after all. In fact, Mr. Obama has spent more, and increased troop levels and movements in his first 100 days in office in accordance with Bush agendas and those of his opponent last election, John McCain.

Clearly this is a bi-partisan effort directly opposed to the majority of Americans who had been misled about the war shortly after 9/11.

Campaign rhetoric aside, Mr. Obama's agenda is clearly not one of any change at all except in escalating the abuses of the Bush Administration which were the American people's primary complaints, and has acted in direct opposition to his campaign representations significantly already less than 100 days in office with the legislative provisions in both the stimulus package, execution of the bank bailout, and now in increasing troop levels and involvement in the war(s).

U.S.,U.N. To Boost Troop Support in Afghanistan

It has been recently reported that newly elected U.S. President Barack Obama, and the U.N. have and are continuing to discuss involving more U.S. and U.N. troops in Afghanistan in order to combat the re-emergence of the Taliban in southern Afghanistan.

Other than a clear violation of the original Resolution passed by the U.S. Congress post 9/11 in which the only authority that ex-President Bush was given with respect to the now "War on Terror" was to search for and bring back those individuals who had claimed responsibility for those attacks to justice, the ever expanding nature of this now war is truly becoming more and more outrageous to most Americans.

We have lost far more lives of our servicemen at this point than all of those who were lost in 9/11.  Our economy and all American civilian lives are now entangled in a downward spiraling economy in which the bottom continues to drop, and now our leadership is going to send more U.S. forces to fight a war against an enemy who believes that dying for their cause is the highest honor?

Insanity doesn't even begin to describe it at this point, nor the American people's continued tolerance now from those who appear to be sinking America more and more in this abyss of world domination and, it appears, a U.N. agenda primarily at this point.

The larger question actually is this.  In nations that believe in religous tolerance and representative governments of the people, why is it that such governments continue to believe that all other countries must ascribe to the same type of government throughout the world?  With such an agenda, is the U.N. not simply setting itself up to be the "government" for all counties, rather than those countries own elected leadership?

Great Britain fought it's own religious civil wars for centuries without any outside involvement, and the Church of England is the "state" religion, although tolerating those whose religious practices are not in accordance with it, so long as those practices do not endanger those of the general population.  So have many other nations in which there are "state" religions between the various religious factions within those religions, in varying degrees of tolerance.

Great Britain also was instrumental in the negotiations for the Israeli State of Israel, another country with a "state" religion, which has and continues to have civil wars within it's own borders.

America does not.  Yet our country continues to be involved in the wars of other nations which do not afford their citizens such freedom and their internal conflicts, which has now impacted the American citizens and their own econmic survival.

We fought a war to break free from a country in order to have those rights, yet continue to be embroiled in the civil wars of other nations in their state religion practices, forms of government and it's leadership, and for the most part due to those living within our own whose loyalties lie not with America at all or their own countrymen and their welfare, but with their former home countries in their divided loyalties.

What is wrong with this picture?  Is it not time for the United States to take care of it's own country and citizen's welfare, rather than embroiling ourselves in the affairs of other nations, and to let them fight their own civil wars and only provide a haven for those individuals who apply as polical refugees instead within reason as our forefathers did?

The problem does appear with the inability of the U.N. and the leadership now of many of the countries throughout the world to recognize the sovereignty of each country, and that attempts at world globalism in government are repressive and do not recognize the individual rights of all nations, and all people to settle their own differences within their own borders without "foreign" interference and undue intervention with the exception of boundary issues and simply sanctuary granted under existing or future treaties for civilians affected by political persecution?

Trade with all nations, permanent alliances with none, and securing each nation against the invasion of another should be each countries primary concern - not the civil affairs of others unless and until it directly impinges on their own, and any and all that do not recognize "sovereign rights" of those nations simply brought to justice for their transgressions.

Our founders recognized that.  So our federal government's primary duty is to secure the safety and security of this nation and it's citizens - not others.

And somewhere, with the announcement of these additional troop movements and involvements rather than carrying out the primary mission, it appears our leadership at the present time has forgotten it's true purpose.

Obamanomics: Spend, Spend, Spend Some More

For a candidate that ran on a platform of balancing budgets by "red-lining" and cutting the fat from government, and other rather fiscally conservative stances (for a Democrat), Barack Obama has really done a 180 since the election - and in less than 100 days in office.

After the horror of the 10 trillion dollar stimulus package he had rushed through Congress in order to "save the American economy," which included a great deal of funding for federal agencies and their expansion, upgrades for high tech improvements in federal office buildings, state and local government expenditures, and for basic infrastructure needs (Budget #1),  Congress then passed earlier this week the 2010 fiscal year end budget again exceeding 3 trillion dollars (Budget #2).  There was a great deal of political posturing involved, and backroom wheeling and dealing, but in the end this enormous budget passed both the House and the Senate.

Prior to it's passage, it was reported in several news sources that included within Budget #2 and in accordance with Mr. Obama's stated "transparency in government" agendas were sums in order to continue funding the War(s) in Iraq and Afghanistan until the planned troop withdrawals in 2010 and 2011 per agreements reached by the Bush Administration with the Iraqi government his last 100 days in office.

However, less than a week after passing this precedent setting budget, Mr. Obama has again asked to have prepared another supplemental appropriations bill for over $83 billion in addition to be earmarked for both the Iraq and Afghanistan war efforts.

And then ordered a pizza delivery for his invited guests Friday night from a restaurant in St. Louis.

So, just when IS that red-lining going to start?

Americans FED UP Over Border Issue

Recently, another writer expressed the frustration of many Americans due to the failure of our federal government to perform it's primary function, securing our borders and also addressing the enormous and massive amounts of illegal immigrants in this country, especially now in light of our economic condition.  He set forth his reasons and the article may be seen at:

http://www.americanconservativedaily.com/2009/04/americans-fed-up-with-politicians-who-refuse-to-enforce-the-law/

But I have some in addition, that only a border state resident at this point would be fully aware that I would like to contribute, and below is a copy of my Letter to the Editor of the publication which originally ran the opinion article:

Dear Editor:

I read with interest the opinion column of John Lilipop with respect to the illegal immigrant and border situation.  As a former 45 year Arizonan now a political refugee in another state due to this problem, and the costs it had progressively had on me and my family personally, I would like to add a few more items which many in the border states are FED UP with:

FED up that the U.S. is providing billions of dollars now to the government of Mexico in order to purportedly "fight" their own civil war against the drug cartel members;

FED up that Hillary Clinton blamed America for the access to guns and ammunition that these cartel members have been able to obtain, when it is more than likely that  most of those arms are being smuggled into the country either through South America, or are being allowed through Mexican customs by their own government officials (however if the fencing was done, such stockpiles of arms would not then be able to be smuggled as readily through also the over 700 miles of open desert bordering Mexico);

FED up that the American taxpayers are providing three Black Hawk helicopters to basically protect the American corporate interests in Mexico who have outsourced American labor, including those in the auto industry;

FED up that the lives of the American citizens now are viewed as no more than collateral damage for U.S. appeasement policies and corporate interests;

FED up that the historic corruption of the Mexican government as many Americans who have traveled and visited Mexico frequently are aware has also been whitewashed by our media, and the U.S. officials;

FED up that Mexico is being portrayed as a "poor" country, when in fact it is one of the richest countries due to both its oil holdings, and the drug trade which it has backhandedly supported for many, many years for Americanos dollars;

FED up that the media continues to be silent about the fact that in Mexico, non-citizens are not allowed to hold land or any property real property outright, nor are they allowed to participate in the political process of Mexico in any manner and to violate this law results in immediate deportation, WITHOUT hearing;

FED up with the lack of disclosure of the fact that if Americans had ever organized to stage the protests that the Mexican illegals have in this country, all Americans would either have been shot, or arrested and sent to Mexican prisons forthwith;

FED up with the lack of disclosure of the fact that there have been many Americans from the border states who have languished in Mexican prisons for years without trials, with their friends and family then charged sums in order to so much as visit their loved ones, over trumped up charges which instances have also gone unmentioned in the media;

FED up that instead of doing their Constitutional duty and protecting American lives and property, the U.S. government continues to promote "globalism" in order to convince Americans that Mexico's "democracy" and government is similar to ours;

FED up that the lives of children and young women and the number of American lives which have been lost due to the open borders situation continues to be downplayed and/or withheld from the public, while the number of lives lost due to the drug cartel wars, announced now at over 6,000, has been severely inflated in order to gain the foreign aid promised by the U.S. to Mexico in Merida;

FED up that our children are being actively marketed to in front of local high school and middle schools within yards of the "Drug Free" zones by those same cartel member distributors during lunch and before and after school;

FED up that in the border states at many times during the year the hospital emergency rooms are full of illegals with case of the flu resulting sometimes in 4-5 hour waits for Americans in order for they or their families to receive treatment, and are given preference over Americans for such care due to the federal statute that reimburses these hospitals at the American citizens expense, while many Americans can now no longer afford themselves to get insurance or visit a doctor due to crushing tax burdens;

FED up that the U.S. now is becoming more and more like Mexico's two class system;

FED up that the jobs that these illegal immigrants are taking in many sectors are not simply "jobs Americans don't want," but were and are jobs that our youth, military, construction workers and those  the lawful Mexican-Americans of the past formerly held;

FED up that this is being portrayed as a "racial" issue, when it is an American vs. non-American issue at it's core;

FED up that the illegal immigrant community has gained a voice in our Congress through taxpayer paid organizations that now lobby on the American citizens' dime for "foreigner" rights equal to and even over those of the lawful citizens at both the federal and state levels for grant monies and their legal fees, which is progressively bankrupting the lawful citizens in the process, and adding to our national debt on behalf of those who do not wish in any manner to truly make America their home;

FED up that while many in the illegal population may be gainfully employed in this country, in addition there are a great number who supplement their incomes with either drug trafficking, or theft of American citizen's property, including their identities, cars and other personal property;

FED up with the Catholic communities support for the "rights" also of illegal immigrants enmass in this country, while neglecting to mention that the Pope himself has a fortress wall around his own country in order to secure it, and which neither has made or given any indication of it's degree of support in whether or not the Church and/or members personally would be willing to "sponsor" many of these illegals until achieving citizenship as a demonstration of their commitment to their religious, political and personal agendas;

FED up that Janet Napolitano, Mr. Obama's chosen Secretary of Homeland Security and former Governor of Arizona, is now using the bulk of the stimulus monies in order to buy full body scanners at U.S. airports in order to further invade the rights and privacy of American citizens, while continuing to support open borders - which support actually has lead to further increasing the danger to her fellow countrymen in Arizona's lives and property, and which end result is now this escalating situation and border war due to her failure to truly address the severity of the border situation during her term as Arizona's Governor;

FED up that unless and until something is done relatively soon in order to effectively secure and fence our borders, more Americans lives will be taken, made homeless, and we quite clearly could lose the American Southwest in the not so distant future if the drug cartels profits continue, and they gain more and more strength in number and support;

And finally,

FED up with fellow Americans who continue to support open borders and massive immigration to the detriment of the lives and property of their fellow countrymen in the border states, which negative impact is and has been spreading throughout the country.

A former Arizonan

The Continuing Strife in the Middle East

Since it is more than clear to most Americans at this point that America's continued presence in the Middle East in both Iraq and Afghanistan is not at all primarily as a response and defensive mission with respect to the attacks on this country by Osama bin Laden and the Taliban in September 2001, but for purely economic reasons - i.e., oil and the "jobs and the economies" of selected government military contractors, I recently stumbled across some rather interesting facts which has complicated my theories about why we are continuing to fight this "no win" war against an enemy whose entire belief system is based upon martyrdom for their cause, and also the silence in the media for now six long years in the amount of civilian and other casualities which have been the result of this engagement.

After discovering this new information, my views on the absurdity of the continuation of U.S. involvement in the Middle East outside capturing bin Laden became even more pronounced.

I had believed that the U.S. did intend to redress 9/11 bringing bin Laden and all who may have been directly involved to justice even after the lie of weapons of mass destruction was revealed. I also believed that the recent crisis in Gaza were separate and isolated events involving two different hot spot issues, and two splinter terrorist organiations. However, after my research my questions changed to (1) Is it possible that the gist of the ongoing strife in the Middle East as also exhibited by the recent bombings in Gaza could be much more complex than simple disputes over land and territory? (2) Could it be also that there are fundamental religious differences that impact the economy of these countries that make any resolution or compromise tenuous at best, and that the U.S.'s support for Israel, right or wrong, might have also a self-serving aspect to it for not simply needed oil, but further economic reasons due to Washington's shift from "national" interests to an increasingly "global" one per the One World Government agendas of the CFR and UN's Resolutions?

In researching the current financial collapse and banking crisis in the United States, and the amounts of rising banking interests rates in this country due in large part to lack of any adequate regulation at either the federal or state level of banking practices in this country, I came across some interesting information from Wiki. It involved interest rates made between creditors and debtors, the fundamental history of which lie also in religion and the differences between Christians, Jews and Muslims with respect to usury (or "use" fees, i.e., interest) for borrowed monies.

It appears that the collection of usury on loans or debts has always had a rather contentious past in all three religions insofar as whether it should be charged at all on borrowed sums from banking institutions, or if so, the amounts and whether or not if the principal amounts are repaid, the usury amount remaining is still a true "debt," once that principal is repaid in the event of bankruptcy. In the U.S., interest rates on credit debt were routinely written off or slashed in federal bankruptcy court actions.

This was the case until several years ago the corporate banking attorneys lobbied for and were successful in getting the U.S. bankruptcy laws changed in order to make such write offs much more difficult. This was attempted under the Clinton Administration, very much a pro-Israel Administration but failed.

And yet, this year petitioned our Congress for their own "bankruptcy" bailout instead at the American people's expense. This fundamental bankruptcy code revision two years ago with respect to credit outstanding has further increased their profits and reduced their risks, while making citizen bankruptcy actions inordinately expensive and so complex at this point it takes the assistance of an attorney to muddle through from those who I have spoken with who have since gone through the process.

This revision was tossed around as indicated in the Clinton Administration before Bush, but Bush was a busy man and a great many monumental revisions in Washington occurred during his administration. Banks in this country now, if delinquent, in some states can raise interest rates, and in addition can and have assessed late charges and over limit fees on credit debt. In addition, it was only the past 10 years or so during the housing boom and post Keating that these creative ARMs were sold to homeowners, many of which were based on London LIBOR market rates exclusively instead of being based on U.S. prime which has also been a contributing factor in all the recent foreclosures left unsaid by the press.

Many were "usury only" or "interest only" loans, in effect merely a "use" right and not property purchase at all. Indy Mac, one such lender which went under used the London market for many loans.

The most interesting fact in my research was that under Muslim law and in Muslim countries, there are no "usury" rates per se as it is forbidden due to their religious beliefs. This would and could present a problem in countries such as Israel where the banks would charge fees on borrowed sums that the Muslim community would find religiously intolerable, and an abomination on their religious beliefs. Thus, the Muslim community have established their own banks inside Israel.

There was also an article recently in Reuters with respect to the largest Islamic bank in Gaza being caught in the middle of the conflict there with respect to suspected monies which Israel claimed may be in their bank and being deposited and held for or on behalf of Hamas members. The U.S. also joined Israel in placing pressure on the Islamic banks to cease any and all transactions for or with Hamas, as did the international banking community.

There has been much publicized recently in the past several years since the first Bush Administration about a "One World Government," and the global economy, with an eventual centralized bank in this global socialistic ideal. The ownership of most of the major banking institututions are held by Jewish banking houses, the result of the historic religious disparities between the three major religions with respect to usury, both the Christian and Islamic faiths opposing usury on religious grounds, which then forced the original Israelites and the modern day Jews to serve as the "moneychangers" and "tax collectors" in days of old.

As time passed in this country, due to the separation of church and state provisions of our Constitution and granting to our Congress the power to issue and regulate our coin and currency (this was the church's job in ancient history), those Christian "usury" objections and/or rates were left primarily to the states to determine and not the federal government.

Thus, the "legal interest rate" may be different from one state to another. The only legislation at the federal level has been with respect to federally chartered savings and loans, and installment companies which were exempted from usury restrictions as "private" contracts, not regulated at all. Which is why you will find a great number of credit card companies and banks incorporated in states with higher legal interest rates. Late payment fees and increases in usury or interest rates are now added on top of the original usury rates for delinquencies as stated above, plus also many times reductions occur in the credit lines themselves. A triple whammy profit for one late payment is pretty profitable for the bankers. And until I believe a recent class action suit, after reducing credit lines of late payees, many banks were then assessing overlimit fees which they themselves manipulated after reducing the credit lines on delinquent accounts.

The founder's would be apalled at the "loan shark" rates now charged by many U.S. banks and their total "usury" rates and fees, as not "Christian" at all.

It was telling and enlightening to read that since the Islamic faith at this point is the only faith that has strict religious prohibitions against usury contrary to the practices of all the private international banking communities with the exception of their own Islamic banks, the continued strife in the Middle East appears far more complex in the religious disparities than simply territorial disputes, nor would they be willing participants in any global world government dependent upon a non-Muslim centralized global banking system.

Below is the relevant information from Wiki, followed by the link to the article recently published in Reuters and the Islamic bank in Gaza:.

USURY RATES IN THE UNITED STATES:

Each U.S.state has its own statute which dictates how much interest can be charged before it is considered usurious or unlawful.

If a lender charges above the lawful interest rate, a court will not allow the lender to sue to recover the debt because the interest rate was illegal anyway. In some states (such as New York) such loans are voided ab-initio[18]

However, there are separate rules applied to most banks. The U.S. Supreme Court held unanimously in the 1978 Marquette Nat. Bank of Minneapolis v. First of Omaha Service Corp. case that the National Banking Act of 1863 allowed nationally-chartered banks to charge the legal rate of interest in their state regardless of the borrower's state of residence.[19] In 1980, due to inflation, Congress passed the Depository Institutions Deregulation and Monetary Control Act exempting federally chartered savings banks, installment plan sellers and chartered loan companies from state usury limits . This effectively overrode all state and local usury laws.[20][21] The 1968 Truth in Lending Act does not regulate rates, except in the cases of some mortgages, but it does require uniform or standardized disclosure of costs and charges.[22]

Avoidance mechanisms

Interest-free banks

The JAK members bank represents an example of how it is possible to create a usury-free saving and loaning system, offering a feasible financial tool to all its members. Other examples of interest-free banking come from the Islamic banking used in the Muslim world.

Islamic banking

Main article: Islamic banking

In a partnership or joint venture where money is lent, the creditor only provides the capital yet is guaranteed a fixed amount of profit. The debtor, however, puts in time and effort, but is made to bear the risk of loss. Muslim scholars argue that such practice is unjust.[23] As an alternative to usury, Islam strongly encourages charity and direct investment in which the debtor shares whatever profit or loss the business may incur.
