Al Sharpton: Get Educated About Border Issue And Off Your Soapbox

The "Don King" of race relations strikes again.

Recently there appeared an article indicating that Al Sharpton has now visited Phoenix to take on the "baddest Sheriff in the West" in my former home state of Arizona, Sheriff Joe Arpaio.

Interesting that two press hounds such as Al Sharpton and Sheriff Joe are now being engaged in an "Al and Joe" show for the locals in Arizona, and also now moving it to the federal stage.

Sheriff Joe, of course, is now under investigation by the Senate Judiciary for his alleged "profiling" done in some of his barricades conducted throughout the City of Phoenix, in which I lived for over 45 years on his "immigration sweeps."

The charges, of course, were politically brought by Phil Gordon, Mayor of Phoenix and assisted, of course, by Ms. Napolitano, my former governor who is behind the "right wing extremist" memorandums and Fusion Centers training local law enforcement in jack boot citizen surveillance tactics, and strip searches at the domestic airports. After, of course, making Arizona a "sanctuary state," while attempting to appear to be addressing the situation by calling out the National Guard, and then disempowering them in the process.

Which now, of course, two years later has resulted in the deaths of many Arizonans due to the spillover of the drug cartel wars going on in the border towns, and increases in gang related drug and property thefts in metropolitan Tucson and Phoenix, and is a contributory factor for many now in Arizona which are losing their homes and jobs right and left, of course left out of the media spins on the foreclosure mess. Arizona is second or third, depending on the month, in the amount of home foreclosures.

Property and auto insurance rates, especially in Phoenix and Tucson, are becoming off the charts due to this federal negligence, and affecting the general population living in the border states in increasing numbers by the year in their inability to afford comprehensive coverage anymore. Of course, the Mexican drivers along with the tourists are responsible for a good number of the auto and truly drunk driving deaths also in the metro area, while the police focus on the sports bar crowds primariy for those federal grant monies for their patrols, and the lease payments for jails they sold several years back to private industries without the public's general knowledge.

The hypocricy is actually quite incredible.

Statistically, the majority of the crimes committed against the lawful citizens actually are committed by the border hoppers, who are Mexican nationals and not U.S. citizens. The ACLU, of course, through the courts for their profit also have gained "more than equal" or "privileges and immunity" now for illegal foreigners committing criminal acts above those that were actually intended to protect the citizens from foreign "attacks" and criminal activity under our Constitution, even though it clearly states: "We the People of the United States...for US and our posterity."

Mexico has a policy of shooting on sight many South Americans intent on criminal activity who are within their borders, and deports or incarcerates immediately any that cannot produce adequate identification or docmentation at the local level under their Constitution. In fact, so much as minor traffic violations can be settled with the arresting officers in payment of their "fines," unless it appears more can be gained politically and financially in incarcerating foreigners charged with even misdemeanor violations in that country.

Most of Sheriff Joe's raids actually have been for no more than publicity, sort of like Al Sharpton's agenda. Since the majority of employers which hire those illegals have hardly been Sheriff's Joe's targets - the developers, construction companies, chain car washes, resort and hotel industries and the like. Nor the cartel members or large drug dealers, more the petty criminal "employee" drug users of some of those cartels and the kids who have become addicted due to the target market for their wares. Or trumped up traffic violations and busted tailights for the self-employed gardeners or car wash employees, although they, too, have victimized the community. My identity theft and stolen credit card happened at a locally owned car wash known for hiring them since all of them do.

Instead, he busted a putt putt course using more than nine Sheriff's deputies to arrest five claimed "illegals." For show.

You see, most of those big and small businesses contribute to civic organizations that support the Sheriff's Office and local police departments. A "politically correct" way to insure protection from any and all police action under the employer sanctions laws passed by the lawful citizens in Arizona several years ago. So the major employers are not the targets of Sheriff Joe's possee. Those which have been undertaken have been no more than publicity stunts.

However, both Phil Gordon and Ms. Napolitano actually were just as negligent in their giving protecton to the criminal element through their continued negligence in pressing the state legislature to petition the federal government or file a federal lawsuit on behalf of the citizens of Arizona if necessary under the U.S. Constitution "common defense" provisions in getting the monies in order to fund the needed fencing to stop the flow, and the border hopping drug dealers, car thieves and gang members.

Few Arizonans or Americans for that matter realize that those HB-1 visas and such are actually requested by the state legislature in Arizona by petition each and every year.  And most of those state legislators that paint the anti-illegal or reduced visas for foreigner faces, are the ones who request the most for their Chamber of Commerce friends and backers.
Surely, there is plenty of money to initiated the federal lawsuit needed, and the feds have more than enough to complete that fencing adequately.

They just gave 100 million to the Chamber of Commerce in order to "educate" the public on why their free global markets are much more important than the publics safety and security, and major reason we have a federal government to begin with - to protect this country from foreign attack and invasion. Not the "jobs and economies" of corporate America. The federal government truly has lost its way in what its true function actually is, and priorities for expenditure of public sums or incurring public debt.

So, for that matter, has every single level of government apparently. Cally-for-nia is a prime example, many of whose former residents are now wrecking havoc in Arizona and bringing it to its knees with their developers agendas and demands, not realizing that Arizona is not beach front property but a desert.

Sharpton getting involved and painting this as a "racial" issue truly does take the cake, although Sheriff Joe under the true law has been out of line in his enforcement tactics by targeting and setting up his barricades and patrols within city limits, rather than county boundaries - which would be his lawful jurisdiction for such actions. Preventing any and all foreigners without visas or green cards from crossing county lines is well within his jurisdiction and authority.

And then, instead of incarcerating them in his "cruel and unusual" punishment tent city jail - in which there have been numerous deaths which have cost the state citizens a bundle and for which the prisoners are now actually charged by Joe for their own incarcerations in that hell hole - turning them over to the U.S. Marshall's office for processing and deportation. As "illegals" there is no inherent right to deportation hearings, and this was the process that was done and was effective and reduced the border problem significantly when I was growing up in Arizona during the 60's and 70's.

The criminal and immigration attorneys, however, wanted their cut of the drug monies seized, and so petitioned for "civil rights" now for foreigners under our Constitution, and which the U.S. Surpreme Court again now has inserted another party into it. Non-Americans, when those fundamental protections were the "carrot" in order for foreigners who came to this country to forswear their allegiance to their former home countries, and truly become Americans.

Look forward to the Al and Joe roadshow. Coming to a media outlet near you, while Arizonans and border residents continue to be made the victims of this political and governmental treason.

The Downside Of Government Provided Health Insurance: Not Just Taxes

Last week Barack Obama called leaders of the insurance industry, pharmaceutical companies and labor organizations for a pow-wow regarding one of his fundamental quests as stated during his campaign: health care reform.

Although these three industries are not in any way directly tied to patient care and delivery, it appears Mr. Obama is playing diplomat with this issue and appeaser with these industry leeches in order that they don't lose a piece of their pie under any anticipated governmental program.

Under Obama's plan, it is estimated that approximately 119 million Americans would shift from private insurance to the governmental plan, putting America on the path toward a completely government run socialized health care system. This, of course, would not sit well with the private insurance carriers who would stand to not only lose business, but their very shirts and the jobs of many who are currently hawking those policies to private businesses and individuals.

The pharmaceutical industry, of course, is quite concerned because under any government plan generics and other effective lower cost drugs (think penicillin and cheaper antibiotics) on which there isn't as much profit would most likely be the preferred and "authorized" treatment with Uncle Sam picking up the tab.

Many of those drug company representatives peddling their "new and improved" wares to doctors would also lose their jobs in the process, and a few of those free bonus trips, and the physicans and health care providers a few holiday gifts.

The unions earned their seat at the appeasement table due to the fact that any government plan would impact Big Labor and their own health care plans which have their administrative mark ups also built in which would, most likely, be negotiated away during the next collective bargaining session.

Mr. Obama during his campaigns assured the American people that the governmental plan he was proposing would simply be an "alternate," with Americans then able to make a choice between the government plan or retaining their own private carriers.

What was left unsaid, however, is that most private insurance is not bought by individuals in this country, but by their Big Business employers. Employers who have shareholders to answer to, and are now facing economic woes of their own throughout many major industries due to this Washington precipitated economic meltdown.

Just how long do you think those employers will keep those group plans once the government plan undercuts them?

What also was left unsaid is that the Obama plan also intends to parent America's children and youth, and mandate that parents must insure their children and themselves, and also feed Washington in providing fines and fees for non-compliance.

In other words, another non-consensual tax in the making that, if Medicare and Medicaid are any indication, will be used for other "discretionary" purposes and be an unaccountable bottomless pit of taxation.

I look for this scenario to go one of two ways:

(1) Mr. Obama will continue in his role as appeaser to all with the exception of Joe Citizen, and will attempt to placate the union bosses and fat cat pharmaceutical executives and insurers by cutting back his legislation to be a bare bones "emergency treatment" policy, with the intent not to totally "socialize" health care in this country but afford Americans then to visit their local insurance agent and sign up for supplemental coverage.

Sort of like Plan A or B supplements for the seniors, only privately obtained. And those supplemental plans will be also subject to increasing costs based upon claims as with the plans now offered, with the government plan as "primary," which will not kick in unless and until you have used the government benefits first, with the insurance industry then able to use the government as the scapegoat for denied treatments.

(2) Or Mr. Obama and Congress in the fine print of the bill will enter into public/private partnerships with the major insurance carriers in this country, and Big Labor privileges of adding in their profit and cut into the government contracts to the amounts which will be required to be withheld from employee/union member paychecks as "administration" fees, with the pharmaceutical industry perhaps being afforded longer patent rights for new medications retroactively and sums for promised grants for future research costs, especially since the embryonic stem cell bill now has been accorded them for their future profits also.

(NOTE: the patent for the original outrageously expensive drugs for AIDS which are used by and large still today expire in 2017, since litigation over ownership rights for the drugs began almost immediately after its "discovery" and have extended the patents on them already an additional 10 years since the patents don't begin until ownership is established, with two companies now sharing those profits since the case was subsequently settled in the early 90's).

The lives of Americans, and especially the large baby boomer generation, are now being bargained for between the insurers, pharmaceutical industries, and big labor.

And I wonder just what recourse will be included for citizens if denied treatment, or if there are any delays or negligence in the care received by government employed physicians and hospitals? What kind of shell game then might Americans face in attempting to redress those grievances between the bureaucrats, insurers, big labor and pharmaceutical companies playing "Who's on first?"

Another take:

http://www.getbetterhealth.com/tag/galen-institute

Gee, I wonder if in this instance as in others whether following our Constitution might be a better idea, and break up the "associations" of these large industries in order to facilitate a truly free market once again, and get Big Labor out of the insurance and health care business which they had no right to enter into in the first place.

Maybe simply beginning to perform their Constitutional function in regulating and overseeing both the type of plans sold at either federal or state levels depending on carrier customer base and home office location.

For accountability, then funding a centralized complaint department for the American citizens to utilize which might be a better useage of those stimulus monies instead of what is going to become another Lawyers Employment Act in its violation of citizens privacy rights with that concocted national health care database for citizens medical information for the feeder industries and states nefarious purposes in the interest of "public unsafety."

I foresee such a bureaucratic administrative nightmare in the end will result in eventually putting small business physicians and software providers out of work, and ultimately increase costs due to government fees and costs which will be tacked on to the patients bills in order utilize that huge mistake-in-the-making system to store and transfer patient records, even if the correct records get transferred. Just imagine the potential lawsuits for unauthorized, misused or incorrect information.

Maybe what we need to do here is step back a moment and look at the legal and "long view."

What a novel idea.

Department of Homeland Security "Politically Profiling" Americans

In advance of the Tea Parties that were held throughout the nation, the Department of Homeland Security had issued several memorandums across the country to state and local law enforcement officials in conjunction with the National Fusion Centers targeting and profiling various individuals and groups labeled "right wing extremists" based merely on political ideology. For several articles with respect to the political furor this has caused, please see:

http://www.cbsnews.com/blogs/2009/04/16/politics/politicalhotsheet/entry4949431.shtml
http://voices.washingtonpost.com/federal-eye/2009/04/napolitano_comments_on_right_w.html

In fact, included within these memorandums was this open ended and rather broad definition of "right wing extremists" according to the Department:

"Right wing extremism," the report said in a footnote on Page 2, goes beyond religious and racial hate groups and extends to "those that are mainly anti-government, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority, or rejecting government authority entirely."

"It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration," said the report, which also listed gun owners and veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars as potential risks."

For those that were critical of the Bush Administration's Patriot Act, and also the "racial profiling" objections which have been raised with respect to the illegal immigrant situation, it appears the Obama Administration has done one better. It is now profiling individuals not on nationality or country of origin, which might be at least a little more understandable given that there are many foreign nationals living in this country, but simply on native born or naturalized Americans political ideology itself - a protected and enumerated right under the U.S. Constitution given U.S. citizens.

For those in our federal, state, local and city government, please view the below law which has been codified enforcing the Constitutional rights of all Americans granted in the Constitution to freely associate, assemble and speak their political minds no matter how "extremist" it might seem to others:

Under U.S.C. Title 18 Sec. 241 242 all governmental Federal, State, City and County officials,

"Whoever, under color of any law or color of office, ... willfully subjects any person ... to the deprivation of any rights ... protected by the Constitution or laws of the United States ... shall be fined ... or imprisoned not more than one year, or both."

While the Republicans now are playing outraged victim somewhat also, since there are many within its ranks that are also "liberal" in Constitutional construction in numerous areas, no word has been mentioned by the mainstream media or those Republican members that in late 2007 the entire U.S. House of Representatives, with the exception of 35 members, passed another one of their behind closed doors "Acts," the "Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Act of 2007."

This Bill is still pending in the Senate as far as can be ascertained, although monies in order to fund the provisions in the bill and agencies which would be involved in enforcing this Act were also included within the stimulus bill - and are being utilized obviously by the Department of Homeland Security for just such purposes.

While the Senators now are free to moan and yell, keeping their political hands, as it were, clean. Although, of course, the Senate also passed that stimulus bill with those funding provisions. And the recent budget which also included sums for DHS operations.

So, again, we have politcal posturing for the American people on both sides of the aisle for another clear violation and attack on American's civil liberties at its core, by all "liberal" governmental officials on both sides of the aisle, who clearly "hate" the Constitution and now all those Americans that support those civil liberties, freedoms and protection against government granted under it, and are now no more than a "hate group" in and of themselves.

Clearly not representatives of the people in such positions due to the sheer number of individuals such broad language encompasses and targets - anyone really outside those holding high federal office and policy makers.

Individuals who would not even be holding office at all right now unless those "radical" founders had not fought against foreign control and dominance, in that original war and resulting Constitutional convention - they died to give Americans those privileges and rights and as a "check" against the government itself.

The even more strange part is that the only apologies that are coming out of Napolitano's office are those allegations against the Iraq and Afghanistan war veterans. She is standing by the memo in all other respects.

No apologies to the millions of other Americans also who have been "politically profiled" on the basis of their political ideology and Constitutional positions with respect to the right to bear arms, free speech and assembly, property protections, criminal and civil rights rights due process provisions and protections as set forth in the Constitution and intended by those founders.

In fact, the memos themselves have "labeled" and removed "due process" in branding Americans due to political ideology and positions that are not in accordance with governmental "unconstitutional" policies criminals even when no actual crime (injury or property loss against another) has even been committed.

It appears this Department and Washington has lost its way in defining just who the real terrorists are. Americans, or as demonstrated by 9/11 and the now southern border situation, foreigners?

For any interested American, the link for the Senate version of the "Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Act," pending in the Senate (but funded under the stimulus) is below. The House, version, which passed 400-35 was originally sponsored by Jane Harman (D-CA) and several other Democrats, but obviously had overwhelming bi-partisan support.

And while the outrage which has resulted has been directed toward the veterans inclusion, clearly in the language contained it also targets the entire Catholic faith, victims of illegal immigrant property and violent crimes and border security advocates, gun owners, in fact nearly three fourths the U.S. population by the satisfaction level of the American people now with those serving on the Hill and in Congress and their continual Constitutional violations.

Contacting Napolitano and National Fusion Centers

For any and all who might want to make your voice heard in light to the current activities of the National Fusion Centers, and the memorandums now being circulated such as the Missouri Memorandum, and now the new one disclosed prior to the Tea Parties by Napolitano's DHS politically profiling Americans simply due to political ideology, below is the email address for the National Fusion Centers.

If you wish a copy of your email to go to Ms. Napolitano, simply state it in the email - since the only contact for DHS and her office is by snail mail (in which all mail is searched, thus can conveniently be claimed was never received).

Speak out and make your voice heard on this, and the bi-partisan Bill which was passed in 2007 "The Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorisms Act" (S-1959) which, although from what information is available has yet to be passed by the Senate, authorizations for the agencies under this Bill were included in monies received by DHS for these activities even without formal passage of the bill under the stimulus.  Even if the Bill had passed, it is clearly unconstitutional in its open ended provisions and targets - Americans, not foreigners - without having actually committed any "crime" at all other than their political ideology and beliefs.  The entire Catholic religion, actually, has now been targeted.  And also victims of the open borders and federal negligence there.

This Bill was a bi-partisan effort and passed the House 400-35 so with the false transparency which is now apparent, may have already been signed into law by the Senate and kept quiet in the media.

Here's the email address:

Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Act of 2007 Behind DHS Memo

In America yesterday hundreds of thousands of Americans  banded together in order to stage mass protest "tea parties" throughout the nation in response to the recent bank bail-outs, stimulus, high taxes and lack of regulation over the Federal Reserve, a private banking institution which regulates and controls this nation's currency.

Prior to these organized events, a memo was issued from the Department of Homeland Security which now is targeting dissident Americans who do not hold with the federal government's continuing violations upon America's Constitution, including returning Iraq and Afghanistan war veterans, as "extreme right wing" terrorists.

This memorandum was distributed to state and local law enforcement agencies throughout the nation.

The memorandum in part, had this to say with respect to it's definition of "right wing extremism:"

"Rightwing extremism," the report said in a footnote on Page 2, goes beyond religious and racial hate groups and extends to "those that are mainly anti-government, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority, or rejecting government authority entirely."

"It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration," said the report, which also listed gun owners and veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars as potential risks."

Several members of Congress are now confronting the Department's Secretary in an effort to gain an explanation for the broad-based and open ended language contained in the memo, which actually targets any and all who may disagree with governmental policy - although in America such dissident protests and positions are protected under the American Bill of Rights affording the right to "free association and assembly" and "freedom of speech."

In fact, these are fundamental rights and freedoms given to all natural or naturalized Americans, which restrictions in England actually were the basis of America's Revolutionary War in 1776.

Interesting enough, however, mention by these same Congressmen has not been made that in late 2007 over 400 members of Congress passed an Act, "The Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terorist Act of 2007" in which such broad based language was included which actually is responsible for Ms. Napolitano's issuance of such an illegal and unlawful memorandum.

This Bill passed overwhelmingly in the House, although it is unclear whether or not it has yet been addressed or passed by the Senate.

This Act makes not simply acts of violent terrorism by foreigners against the country or American people a crime, but the mere political disagreement or political ideology which differs with elected or appointed governmental officials by Americans a crime in and of itself.

In short, governmental tyranny at it's core, and a fundamental violation of the basis upon which this entire nation was founded.  The founders of this country were "radical" in their beliefs themselves.

In fact, the Department of Homeland Security, according to a YouTube video, is using this Act in order to now rewrite American history, teaching local and state government officials that the founding fathers of this nation were actually the first terrorists.

Global socialism now is not only destroying this nation's economy, but it's very essence, by those now in Washington who have abandoned the very principles and foundations upon which those founders fought - freedom over governmental tyranny.

Actually, it appears this Act and memo have made the government itself a "hate group" of the majority of a significant number of the American people, by last polls, that do not agreement with the onging War in Iraq, stimulus provisions, Federal Reserves arbitrary monetary policies.  It appears that instead of the government being representative of the people, it is now it's own hate group targeting the people.

You can read the provisions of the Senate version (S-1959) of this bill at:

Congress Proposes "CyberSecurity Act of 2009"

For free speech and privacy activists it appears that the Patriot Act was not enough.  Nor the Patriot Act II signed into law shortly after newly elected Barack Obama was sworn into office hiding the provisions of a National Health Care database of citizen's health care records to be created by the government violating privacy rights at taxpayer's expense.

Now there is a move by Congress to grant powers to the President to regulate and control internet access.  This "hope" and "change" is getting worse by the day.  In it's current form, it appears the powers given are fairly broad in an effort to protect America's infrastructure in times of "crisis."  However, the definition of a "crisis" is left to the sole discretion of the President.

Senate bills No. 773 and 778 (The "Cybersecurity Act of 2009) introduced by Senator Jay Rockfeller D-W.V. creates a new government agency (expanding government jobs and taxpayer expense once again) entitled the Office of the National Cybersecurity Advisor which would be accountabl directly to the president whose main publicized function would be in defending the U.S. from "cyber attack."

The purpose of the bill as stated in its draft form is as follows:

"To ensure the continued free flow of commerce within the United States and with its global trading partners through secure cyber communicatons,

to provide for the continued development and exploitation of the Internet and intranet communications for such purposes,

to provide for the development of a cadre of information technology specialists to improve and maintain effective cyber security defenses against disruption,

AND FOR OTHER PUPOSES."

 In the working draft of the legislation recently obtained by an Internet privacy group, the plan also grants the Secretary of Commerce access to all internet service providers which can in any way be deemed to be critical to the nation's infrastructure and defense  "without regard to any provision of law, regulation, rule or policy restricting such access."

This measure as defended by Mr. Rockefeller and Olympia Snowe, co-sponsors of the bills, is meant to give the Secretary of Commerce discretion to protect American's banking and health records in order to shut down those providers the President designates in the event of a "cyber attack."

The problems most in the cyber industry have brought up most often in response to these proposals is the lack of a clear definition of just what are the "critical infrastructure" networks, and the lack of any accountability of the President or the Secretary of Commerce given such powers and simply left at their sole discretion.

And the potential for access of the government, of course, to citizens private records in violation of the Constitution's "search and seizure"  provisions.

The bills have been read twice on the floor, and have now been referred to Committee.

Senate Hearings Scheduled to Investigate Border Issue

In reading the online version of the Arizona newspapers as a political refugee from that state, I came across an article with respect to an upcoming hearing that is to be conducted over the border issues in Arizona in the very near future. After reading the article and as a multiple victim of this negligence who has family and friends still living there under war zone conditions, I sent the following letter to the Arizona legislature:

Dear Legislators:

I read with interest in the Republic that there is to be a Senate hearing now over the border issue and violence which has been occurring by one of the Senate Committees in the near future. Another "shut up" measure it appears, prior to Obama/McCain's push for that amnesty coming up in the fall, and scheduled after Obama's commencement speech at ASU on his "Push the Amnesty" tour now it would appear.

Due to the universities in which he has scheduled his public relations appearances (ASU and Notre Dame), it would appear that these occasions will be used for an agenda since this amnesty is something Washington eventually intends to push down the American people's throats whether they like it or not.

Interesting also that "as with all Senate hearings" there will be no public input. You would think in a government "of the people" that it is the people, not public officials, input that would be given the most weight - after all, it is the people and not the public officials who have been victimized, since a great many of those public officials also have agendas in their political positions.

Mayor Gordon is scheduled to speak - Mr. Sanctuary City, who even gave police protection to those illegals for their last demonstration. Terry Goddard, who has hidden in his office for the last six years, and has failed to prosecute in any meaningful way any of the illegals who have victimized state residents. Jan Brewer, who as Secretary of State and a new Governor to boot will have little in the way to add since she is there mostly for the big businesses profiting off this situation.

What a sham. And I guess merely another PR stunt, and way in which the Senate Committee members can get in some golf and a free trip to Arizona. The FBI statistics alone should paint the picture. And the amount of homeless in that state who have also been victimized. The facts are there - but it appears that facts are not something that those in Washington consider in any of their deliberations - nor the law or Constitution as to whose lives and property they are duty bound to protect.

I wonder what the tab on the taxpayers will be for this, again, bureaucratic PR stunt? Napolitano must have volumes in her office of background and statistics on this. And since even the public has voted at the ballot boxes and also screamed for those National Guard troops - just what additional "evidence" does this committee need anyway?

Merely a bonding exercise, it would appear, for those on this "committee," and visit to Troon.

And I wonder just how "political" and "downplayed" that testimony is truly going to be from those "officials" who have also betrayed their fellow Arizonans for literally years - such as Gordon, Goddard, the Governor's office, and the rest? Including the legislature.

Americans FED UP Over Border Issue

Recently, another writer expressed the frustration of many Americans due to the failure of our federal government to perform it's primary function, securing our borders and also addressing the enormous and massive amounts of illegal immigrants in this country, especially now in light of our economic condition.  He set forth his reasons and the article may be seen at:

http://www.americanconservativedaily.com/2009/04/americans-fed-up-with-politicians-who-refuse-to-enforce-the-law/

But I have some in addition, that only a border state resident at this point would be fully aware that I would like to contribute, and below is a copy of my Letter to the Editor of the publication which originally ran the opinion article:

Dear Editor:

I read with interest the opinion column of John Lilipop with respect to the illegal immigrant and border situation.  As a former 45 year Arizonan now a political refugee in another state due to this problem, and the costs it had progressively had on me and my family personally, I would like to add a few more items which many in the border states are FED UP with:

FED up that the U.S. is providing billions of dollars now to the government of Mexico in order to purportedly "fight" their own civil war against the drug cartel members;

FED up that Hillary Clinton blamed America for the access to guns and ammunition that these cartel members have been able to obtain, when it is more than likely that  most of those arms are being smuggled into the country either through South America, or are being allowed through Mexican customs by their own government officials (however if the fencing was done, such stockpiles of arms would not then be able to be smuggled as readily through also the over 700 miles of open desert bordering Mexico);

FED up that the American taxpayers are providing three Black Hawk helicopters to basically protect the American corporate interests in Mexico who have outsourced American labor, including those in the auto industry;

FED up that the lives of the American citizens now are viewed as no more than collateral damage for U.S. appeasement policies and corporate interests;

FED up that the historic corruption of the Mexican government as many Americans who have traveled and visited Mexico frequently are aware has also been whitewashed by our media, and the U.S. officials;

FED up that Mexico is being portrayed as a "poor" country, when in fact it is one of the richest countries due to both its oil holdings, and the drug trade which it has backhandedly supported for many, many years for Americanos dollars;

FED up that the media continues to be silent about the fact that in Mexico, non-citizens are not allowed to hold land or any property real property outright, nor are they allowed to participate in the political process of Mexico in any manner and to violate this law results in immediate deportation, WITHOUT hearing;

FED up with the lack of disclosure of the fact that if Americans had ever organized to stage the protests that the Mexican illegals have in this country, all Americans would either have been shot, or arrested and sent to Mexican prisons forthwith;

FED up with the lack of disclosure of the fact that there have been many Americans from the border states who have languished in Mexican prisons for years without trials, with their friends and family then charged sums in order to so much as visit their loved ones, over trumped up charges which instances have also gone unmentioned in the media;

FED up that instead of doing their Constitutional duty and protecting American lives and property, the U.S. government continues to promote "globalism" in order to convince Americans that Mexico's "democracy" and government is similar to ours;

FED up that the lives of children and young women and the number of American lives which have been lost due to the open borders situation continues to be downplayed and/or withheld from the public, while the number of lives lost due to the drug cartel wars, announced now at over 6,000, has been severely inflated in order to gain the foreign aid promised by the U.S. to Mexico in Merida;

FED up that our children are being actively marketed to in front of local high school and middle schools within yards of the "Drug Free" zones by those same cartel member distributors during lunch and before and after school;

FED up that in the border states at many times during the year the hospital emergency rooms are full of illegals with case of the flu resulting sometimes in 4-5 hour waits for Americans in order for they or their families to receive treatment, and are given preference over Americans for such care due to the federal statute that reimburses these hospitals at the American citizens expense, while many Americans can now no longer afford themselves to get insurance or visit a doctor due to crushing tax burdens;

FED up that the U.S. now is becoming more and more like Mexico's two class system;

FED up that the jobs that these illegal immigrants are taking in many sectors are not simply "jobs Americans don't want," but were and are jobs that our youth, military, construction workers and those  the lawful Mexican-Americans of the past formerly held;

FED up that this is being portrayed as a "racial" issue, when it is an American vs. non-American issue at it's core;

FED up that the illegal immigrant community has gained a voice in our Congress through taxpayer paid organizations that now lobby on the American citizens' dime for "foreigner" rights equal to and even over those of the lawful citizens at both the federal and state levels for grant monies and their legal fees, which is progressively bankrupting the lawful citizens in the process, and adding to our national debt on behalf of those who do not wish in any manner to truly make America their home;

FED up that while many in the illegal population may be gainfully employed in this country, in addition there are a great number who supplement their incomes with either drug trafficking, or theft of American citizen's property, including their identities, cars and other personal property;

FED up with the Catholic communities support for the "rights" also of illegal immigrants enmass in this country, while neglecting to mention that the Pope himself has a fortress wall around his own country in order to secure it, and which neither has made or given any indication of it's degree of support in whether or not the Church and/or members personally would be willing to "sponsor" many of these illegals until achieving citizenship as a demonstration of their commitment to their religious, political and personal agendas;

FED up that Janet Napolitano, Mr. Obama's chosen Secretary of Homeland Security and former Governor of Arizona, is now using the bulk of the stimulus monies in order to buy full body scanners at U.S. airports in order to further invade the rights and privacy of American citizens, while continuing to support open borders - which support actually has lead to further increasing the danger to her fellow countrymen in Arizona's lives and property, and which end result is now this escalating situation and border war due to her failure to truly address the severity of the border situation during her term as Arizona's Governor;

FED up that unless and until something is done relatively soon in order to effectively secure and fence our borders, more Americans lives will be taken, made homeless, and we quite clearly could lose the American Southwest in the not so distant future if the drug cartels profits continue, and they gain more and more strength in number and support;

And finally,

FED up with fellow Americans who continue to support open borders and massive immigration to the detriment of the lives and property of their fellow countrymen in the border states, which negative impact is and has been spreading throughout the country.
